Delete Your Account
You have the right to request deletion of your SareeXchange account and the data associated with it. We comply with Google Play's account deletion policy and all applicable data protection laws.
How to Request Deletion
Send an email to the address below from the email account registered with your SareeXchange account, or include enough information for us to locate and verify your account.
Email support@sareeexchange.aiInclude in your email:
- Subject line: Account Deletion Request
- Email address or phone number associated with your account
- Confirmation that you want your account and data permanently deleted
What Will Be Deleted
When we process your deletion request, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number, address)
- All saree listings, photos, and wardrobe entries you have uploaded
- Virtual try-on images and videos associated with your account
- In-app messages, chat history, and notification preferences
- Activity logs and usage analytics linked to your account
- Authentication credentials (Apple ID, Google, phone, email linked to the account)
Data That May Be Retained
Some limited data may be retained for legitimate legal, financial, or security purposes, in accordance with applicable law:
- Transaction records required by tax and accounting laws (typically retained for up to 7 years)
- Anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you personally
- Records required to prevent fraud or comply with legal obligations
Processing Timeline
Within 48 hours
We'll confirm receipt of your request and verify your account ownership.
Within 30 days
Your account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted from our active systems.
Within 90 days
Your data will be removed from backup and disaster recovery systems.
Other Deletion Options
Once our service is back online after the current maintenance window, you can also:
- Sign into the app and navigate to Profile → Delete My Account
- Use the in-app Support option to submit a deletion request
